The Local Authority has recently undertaken a consultation in respect of proposed admission arrangements for the 2021/22 school year.

The consultation was in respect of the locally agreed admission policy for community schools and those academy schools that are adopting the local policy for admission to nursery classes, reception classes and transfer to secondary education (Year 7 classes).

The public consultation was open for comment for the required six week period from Friday 22 November 2019 to Friday 3 January 2020.

The consultation period is now closed and the proposals will be reviewed and any comments submitted during consultation will be considered.

Final decisions will be taken by Friday 28 February 2020 and the determined admission arrangements for 2021/22 will be made available on this website by Sunday 15 March 2020.
Please note - The determined admission arrangements for voluntary aided church schools within the authority area will also be published on this site by Sunday 15 March 2020 but any queries in relation to the admission arrangements of these schools should be directed to the individual school governing body who are the admission authority.
