Talking to your child about terrorism

Whilst terror attacks are extremely rare, the recent events in Manchester (on 22 May 2017) has highlighted the impact on children and young people, whether they were at the Manchester Arena itself or a friend or relative of someone who was there, or simply hearing or reading about the incident on social media or news outlets.  

To help parents and carers talk to children about such incidents, a simple guide has been produced offering practical advice to follow.
