Start to stop this No Smoking Day!

No Smoking Day returns on March 11 and Knowsley’s Public Health team are backing the annual campaign.

The Knowsley team are encouraging as many smokers as possible to take part and begin their smokefree journey from 11 March.

People are four times more likely to give up if they receive help and support and in Knowsley, there is a range of support available to suit different lifestyles.

This includes 4 week online and mobile quit programmes, face-to face individual appointments or group sessions as well as nicotine replacement therapies like patches and gum.

Matthew Ashton, Director of Public Health for Knowsley, said:

“Giving up smoking is difficult and people are much more likely to stop successfully if they get support than if they try to do it alone.

Whatever support you need, Knowsley has something to suit your needs.”
