One click away from a healthier you

This month, Knowsley Council’s Public Health team is launching an exciting new website that will help residents improve their health and wellbeing.

The Healthy Knowsley website is full of helpful advice and information to help people make the small changes needed to improve their lifestyle.

The website includes advice on healthy eating, physical activity, stopping smoking, sexual health, mental wellbeing and the effects of drugs and alcohol, plus links to advice on work, learning, money and housing.

It starts with an easy lifestyles quiz to let people know how healthy or unhealthy their current lifestyle choices may be.

Knowsley residents can sign up to access tools that will help track their progress and they can get in touch with a Wellbeing Advisor who can offer additional support.

Matthew Ashton, Director of Public Health in Knowsley, said: “The Healthy Knowsley website is really easy for people to use and it’s a great ‘one stop shop’ for health information and advice.

“Our residents can access it from the comfort of their own home and at a time that suits them, so they really are only one click away from improving their health.

“I would encourage everyone to take that small first step to improving their health and sign up to the website.”
