Half-term fun in Knowsley’s libraries

Published on: Thursday, 06-February-2014

Spring-themed craft activities, jewellery making workshops and children’s story times are on offer this half-term in your local library.

Knowsley’s Library Service is running a range of activities to keep children entertained during the school holidays.

There are spring flower basket crafts for the little ones, whilst older children can try making their own jewellery or taking part in paper craft sessions. Activities will be held in libraries across the borough so you can be sure there will be something going on near you.

Cllr Eddie Connor, Knowsley’s Cabinet Member for Leisure, Community and Culture, said:

“Libraries are a great resource for children both during term time and school holidays. By hosting a variety of activities over the half term, it will not only help the children have fun, but will hopefully encourage them to visit the libraries all year round.”

Details of half-term activities are available by contacting your local library.
