Fuel Poverty Awareness Day (Friday 28th March)

Published on: Friday, 28-March-2014

Knowsley residents are being given advice on keeping energy bills down on Fuel Poverty Awareness Day.

This is a national campaign, organised by National Energy Action, which aims to highlight the issue of people struggling to keep their homes warm and offer solutions to tackle the problem.

Knowsley Council has put together a list of top tips on keeping your home warm and energy efficient, along with details of schemes which could help you save money. Visit our energy efficiency page for more information.

Meanwhile, if you have not already signed up to the collective scheme to reduce your energy bills, you still have time to do so.

The deadline to join the Liverpool City Region Collective Switch has been extended to midnight on Monday 31 March.

The average saving in Knowsley is £75 per year, with the biggest individual saving in the borough being £275.
