Apprentice Marketing, Internal Communications, Products and Services - First Ark - REF: K033

The First Ark Group is one of the largest providers of social housing in the North West of England.

KHT are a progressive not for profit, independent housing association based in Knowsley, a vibrant and dynamic urban area of Merseyside.

They manage over 14,000 high quality homes at affordable rents. They are recruiting apprentices to support the delivery of the service.

This role will be responsible for assisting three teams across one department. The successful applicant will be helping Marketing, Internal Communications, and Products and Services.

They will be expected to manage their time to meet diverse challenges, and prioritise their workload accordingly.

Support will range from assisting in the content, creation and execution of social media campaigns, through to administrative tasks, and desktop based research.

Key responsibilities for the role:

  • Must be able to complete an apprenticeship framework in Business Administration
  • Support with the management of all company related social media platforms – creating and uploading content – reporting on success and performance
  • Assist the wider marketing and communications team with the delivery of marketing plans and activity
  • Assist in setting up filming for vlogs and other videos
  • Assist with the organisation and delivery of events including the annual Staff Conference and Christmas party and customer awards
  • Administration - processing purchase orders, keeping records, arranging payments, sending recharges/invoices, holidays, etc.
  • First point of contact for internal teams wanting work done/point of contact for customer enquiries
  • Liaising with suppliers for works- arranging/providing access/checking works/monitoring customer satisfaction
  • Monitoring and reporting on market comparisons of services offered/sales figures, etc
  • Reconciliation of financial records
  • Supporting assessment of new P&S
  • Support with content creation and proofread for a variety of literature including internal and external publications
  • Assist in researching and writing articles for the intranet and staff magazine

Contracted hours: 35 hours per week
Hourly rate of pay: National Minimum Wage
