Key responsibilities for the role:

  • Must be able to complete an apprenticeship framework in Engineering
  • Improving operational performance
  • Manufacturing Heating Elements
  • Performing Manufacturing Operations
  • Working from written and verbal instructions
  • Carrying out and Recording Test results
  • Forming and bending elements by hand and using CNC machinery
  • Drilling
  • Milling
  • Welding
  • Wiring
  • Assembly work
  • Learning about maintenance of machinery
  • Carrying out general housekeeping duties

Key skills to be successful in your application:

  • Qualifications required/predicted - GCSE’s grade C and above in Maths and English
  • Computer literate, EXCEL or equivalent.
  • Able to perform manufacturing operations including manual lifting (after training) assembly work

Contracted hours: Monday to Thursday, 8am to 5pm, Friday, 8am - 4pm

Hourly rate of pay: National Minimum Wage
