Apprentice Empty Homes Admin Assistant - Vivark (part of First Ark) - REF: K037

The First Ark Group is one of the largest providers of social housing in the North West of England. KHT are a progressive not for profit, independent housing association based in Knowsley, a vibrant and dynamic urban area of Merseyside.

They manage over 14,000 high quality homes at affordable rents. They are recruiting apprentices to support the delivery of the service.

Key responsibilities for the role:

  • Must be able to complete an apprenticeship framework in Business Administration Level 2 NVQ
  • Admin duties to support the Empty Homes Coordinator
  • Assist the team to answer email and telephone enquiries
  • Admin support for team meetings
  • Support the Empty Homes Team with the Voids process
  • Update systems and upload certificates to ensure compliance within team
  • Ad-hoc support to Property Managers within the Empty Homes Team
  • Support the reviewing and archiving of documents

Key skills to be successful in your application:

  • Qualifications/predicted required: 3 GCSEs grade C and above/ 4-9 including Maths and English
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • Good keyboard and IT Skills (preferably with experience of Microsoft Office)
  • Ability to work using own initiative
  • Enthusiastic and friendly

Location: First Ark
Contracted hours: 35 hours per week
Hourly rate of pay: National Minimum Wage

Top tips for filling in the application form:
