"IS27 provides consultancy advice and support to businesses wishing to gain ISO certifications for Information Security and Health and Safety accreditations on a national basis. We are looking to expand our business and in line with the requirements for Cyber Security we are looking to training and support an information officer apprentice role in this exciting business, which is located in Prescot. The company have adapted to working with software as a service applications and provide international coverage to our clients."

Key responsibilities for the role:

To provide administration support to ISO Consultant(s) employed by a management consultancy service that helps its clients gain their required certifications. IS27 is a growing business and the ideal candidate will play an active role in helping our clients to successfully gain their UKAS supported certifications. The Role will require arranging a campaign and responding to interest by booking in a Sales call to engage in an activity for Cyber Protection or advice.

  • Must be able to complete an apprenticeship framework
  • Creating client files (paper and electronic)
  • Create appointments for consultants and book time resources
  • Using a questionnaire checklist for security questions
  • Providing a proposal to a customer for their requirements
  • Develop, update and maintain relevant registers
  • Liaise with certification bodies - quotes
  • Liaise with clients- Teams, Zoom, Meet, Webex, Telephone, e-mail
  • Develop documented procedures in-line with ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 requirements

Key skills to be successful in your application:

  • Good Communication Skills with Telephone /  Microsoft Teams
  • Use of Office 365 – Word, Excel, SharePoint
  • Business Administration interest
  • Cyber Security interest- Awareness of threats and vulnerabilities
  • GDPR / Data Protection awareness
  • An interest in Business and ICT

Contracted hours: 30                
Hourly rate of pay: NMW for age
