Key responsibilities for the role:

  • Setting up and using equipment and hand tools
  • Cutting and shaping wood components
  • Unit assembly
  • Finishing units by sanding
  • Maintaining a safe, secure and clean environment
  • Various factory duties including deliveries and maintenance
  • Loading and unloading furniture with some site installation work

Key skills to be successful in your application are:

  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to perform manual tasks and be safety conscious
  • Ability to carry out basic mathematical calculations
  • Work at high level of accuracy
  • Be able to work without supervision & as part of a team
  • Capability of understanding written instructions
  • Must have or be able to achieve L2 in English and Maths

Location: Prescot Business Park, Prescot                         
Contracted hours: Monday to Friday, between either 7am to 4.15pm or 7.15am to 4.30pm, 46.25 hours      Hourly rate of pay: National Minimum Wage
