"Since 1995 Courtley has provided health and safety support and training to individuals and organisations, in both the public and private sectors.  We act as health and safety advisors to a wide range of companies across the UK (around 180 in total) delivering cost effective support and training to ensure our Members and clients workplaces are compliant with legal requirements and best practice. We specialise in the provision of PASMA, SMSTS and SSSTS training courses as well as Face Fit Testing, from our head office in Liverpool and have a second office in Surrey.

Key responsibilities for the role:

  • Must be able to complete an apprenticeship standard Level 3 Business Admin over 18 months
  • Supporting H&S advisors by completing admin tasks as required
  • Compiling H&S documentation using templates e.g., policies, risk assessments, COSHH assessments, method statements, construction phase plans
  • Assisting H&S advisors with their diaries, including recording of work completed
  • Pre & post course training admin e.g., scheduling and adverting courses, liaising with awarding bodies and instructors, advising clients, processing bookings, claiming grants, obtaining/producing and distributing certificates.
  • 8am start on training days to provide support as required
  • General admin and reception duties: answering telephone and assisting callers/passing messages on, greeting visitors, franking and posting letters/site files, ordering stationery and other required materials for delivery of training and services, filing
  • Social media management

Key skills to be successful in your application:

  • Qualifications required/predicted good level of English and Maths
  • Confident use of the following Microsoft Office applications is essential: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Management of social media platforms

  • Timekeeping and management

Location: Knowsley                              
Contracted Hours:  40 hours per week                      
Hourly rate of pay: At least NMW for age
