Knowsley Council has an ambitious and visionary strategy for the improvement of SEND services across the borough.

A recent service restructure has seen significant investment and increases in staffing across several teams and we are now looking to recruit 36 hours of Educational Psychology- applications are welcome for full time and part time consideration.

As an Educational Psychologist in Knowlsey you will contribute to wider SEND agenda and contribute to expanding our existing Psychology service: including the traded offer with Early Years, The Virtual School and School, as well as pioneering new developments and service level agreements to work wider than the statutory functions you will also complete.

Working as part of a committed and dedicated team you will support a senior and the PEP to work and collaborate with families, our parent carer forum, practitioners, schools and organisations to improve life experiences and outcomes for our young people but most importantly you will work with children, putting them at the heart of all you do and ensuring that plan, do, review is embedded into practice and the voice of the child is heard loud and clear.
