We have a vacant Senior Registered Managers post for our Children’s Homes, both homes are situated in the borough of Knowsley. We have a successful service that consists of a three bedroom mainstream home and a sort break home for children with disabilities.  Knowsley is committed to keeping and improving upon the Ofsted rating and in doing so ensuring our children and young people exceed their potential outcomes.
As Registered Manager you will be responsible for the whole service and there will be an expectation that you will successfully register with Ofsted, as a manager. We are proud of our homes in Knowsley and require an innovative manager who can continue to improve services to our children, young people and families.
You must hold a professional social work qualification and either have or be committed to obtain NQV 5 in Leadership and Management. You would have a minimum of 5 years experience of delivering high quality services to children and families in a residential setting, with a minimum of one year at a supervisory level.
You must possess the necessary skills to manage a team of experienced and dedicated staff and have the ability to manage regulated services within the framework of Children homes Quality Standards and Regulations.
This post requires you to have a flexible approach as well as being able to prioritise workloads. Good financial management skills are essential as well as the ability to work effectively with a range of professionals, and especially parents and carers.  You will also be responsible for the supervision and development of staff.
An enhanced DBS is also required for this post.
