The Business Support Function provides efficient and effective business and administrative support across all areas of the Council. 
 
We are currently seeking to recruit to the following Business Support Assistant posts:-
 
Post 1: Full time fixed term until March 2021 providing administration support the Knowsley Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) working together with agencies that have contact with children and adults at risk, in order to keep them safe from harm.

One of the key activity within this post is to support statutory meeting held between MASH and other agencies and family members.  All meetings are held in a live environment, where the notes of the meeting are recorded and approved real time.
Attention to detail is essential as well as a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and excellent keyboard skills.
You would also be expected to access and update Management Information systems as required.
The successful candidate should be self-motivated, enjoy working as part of a large team, able work well under pressure, and have the ability to adapt quickly and be flexible in order to meet the needs of the service.
Training on relevant systems will be provided.

Post 2: Full time fixed term until March 2021 providing administration support to Adult Social Care Workers working within the Community & Review Team

One of the key activities within this post is to support statutory meeting.  Meetings are held in a live environment, where the notes of the meeting are recorded and approved real time.
Attention to detail is essential as well as a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and excellent keyboard skills.
You would also be expected to access and update Management Information systems as required.
The successful candidate should be self-motivated, enjoy working as part of a large team, able work well under pressure, and have the ability to adapt quickly and be flexible in order to meet the needs of the service

Post 3: Part time fixed term (18 hours /6 month contract) providing administration support to the Blue Badge Service.

The role will require you to support our team of Occupational Therapists in processing Blue Badge applications.
Key activities within this post is to process Blue Badge applications, updating and maintaining client records, scanning, scheduling appointments, dealing with customer queries as well as contacting customers to gather additional information.
Good attention to detail is essential as well as a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and excellent keyboard skills.
The successful candidate should be self-motivated, enjoy working as part of a large team, able work well under pressure, and have the ability to adapt quickly and be flexible in order to meet the needs of the service.
