The Technical Support and Quality Assurance Teams are part of the Communities and Neighbourhoods department supporting a wide range of the Council’s frontline operational functions in relation to Streetscene, Facilities Management, Waste Management and Highways Maintenance Services.
You will have responsibility for managing and directing staff within the Technical Support and Quality Assurance Teams (Neighbourhoods) on a day to day basis including:

  • the effective development, implementation and maintenance of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System;

  • ensuring compliance with the internal and external audit schedule; and

  • ensuring effective co-ordination of all internal and external communications in relation to customer services and stakeholder enquiries

    You will provide a high quality service in a professional manner and ensuring continuous improvement of the services that you support.
    Proven knowledge and extensive practical experience of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems, with the ability to influence and support frontline operational services together with excellent software and information management skills will be required. You will also have transferable supervision/management experience.
