Building on the existing well-regarded work within our Safeguarding and Quality Assurance Unit we are recruiting to complete our compliment of excellent CP Chair/Reviewing Managers (IROs).  A dual role with an initial  focus on Child Protection you will  lead by example with quality of practice, scrutiny and challenge to ensure that  children who are in our Care or the subject of a Child Protection Plan are receiving the best standards of provision aimed at achieving aspirational outcomes. You will carry out statutory reviews for Children in our Care and chair Child Protection Conferences; through quality assurance monitoring and training you will drive continuous improvement across Children’s Services and partner agencies.

You will need significant experience and understanding of current issues, guidance, legislation and regulations relating to Safeguarding, Child Protection and Care Planning Regulations. Excellent people skills with the ability to engage with all ages and professions is required as is the ability to challenge constructively and promote innovate thinking, planning and solutions. HCPC Social Work Registration along with significant experience in children's settings is a must.
