6.25 hours per week (12.00pm - 1.15pm)

The Governors of Halsnead Primary School are seeking to appoint two Midday Supervisor’s to supervise the children during lunchtime. This is a part-time role working Monday to Friday between 12.15pm and 1.15pm during the school term.

The post’s will be temporary until 17 July 2020, with a possibility of them being extended, as they are linked to school funding.

As a Midday Supervisor, you are required to supervise the children (ages 4-11) at lunchtime. This may be indoors or outside in the playground.

The Midday Supervisor will:

  • Provide basic First Aid

  • Work with class teachers at handover times

  • Encourage healthy eating and good manners

  • Ensure the safety of children, ensuring safeguarding guidelines are followed

  • Organise and supervise children during indoor and outdoor playtimes and in the lunch hall.

  • Be energetic and imaginative.
