Main Pay Range 1-6  
£23,720 - £35,008 per annum
Upper Pay Range 1-3
£36,646 - £39,406 per annum
+TLR 2A £2,721 per annum

The successful candidate should have


  • Suitable experience as a Qualified Teacher, excellent teaching skills and demonstrates outstanding classroom practice.

  • Experience of working with children with Special Needs

  • Knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice

  • The ability to Lead staff in developing their knowledge and expertise in working with SEN children

  • The ability to support pupils with a range of different abilities and needs – SEND, LAC, EAL, G & T

  • The ability to work effectively with the Headteacher and SLT to achieve excellence

  • The ability to support and overview the work of teaching assistants working with SEN children

  • Good communication skills and an ability to work within a team and enable liaison with a variety of external agencies

  • Commitment to closing the gap in attainment for vulnerable pupils.

  • The ability to develop good relationships with children, staff, parents and our local community.

  • Supportive our Christian ethos and Mission.

  • Lots of energy, enthusiasm and a sense of fun.

This is a non class based role.
