SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS TEACHING ASSISTANT LEVEL 2
 
Pay Band D / SCP 14 – 17
 
£17,681 to £18,672 per annum, pro rata
plus SEN Allowance of £1,239, per annum, pro rata
(Actual Salary: £6,517.03 - £6,882.31 plus Actual SEN of £456.68 per annum)
 
15 hours per week / 46 weeks per year (Term Time only)
9am -12pm Mon – Fri
To commence as soon as possible
 
The Governors of St Leo’s and Southmead Catholic Primary School wish to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will assist the class teacher in the delivery of an Individual Education Plan for a pupil with an Educational Health Care Plan.  The role will include working with a child who has specific learning needs.
The contract is terminable when the pupil leaves the school or the provision allocated for in the E.H.C.P. reduces or ceases.
 
NVQ qualification to at least level 2 is essential.
