Local strategic partnership
The Local Strategic Partnership (LSP)
is responsible for developing,
implementing and monitoring the
progress of the Local Community Plan.
In particular it:

- Makes decisions on priorities for action both geographically and by them
- Secures the resources needed to achieve the target outcomes
- Co-ordinates activity through mainstream programmes and service level agreements with agencies
- Measures the progress towards the strategic outcomes
- Makes sure that there is true community involvement in the development and implementation of the community plan.
The Local Strategic Partnership has a
cross section of representatives from
agencies and communities in Knowsley.
All partners have an equal status in
decision making.
