Enforcement policy
The Enforcement Policy statement sets
out the general principles and
approach that the Council expects all
of its enforcement services to follow.
The Enforcement Policy also sets out
what businesses and others being
regulated can expect from the Councils
enforcement officers. It commits us to
good enforcement policies and
procedures. It will be supplemented by
additional statements of enforcement
policy in relation to specific council
services. These cover the following
areas:

- Licensing
- Environmental Health
- Trading Standards
- Pollution Control
- Planning
- Building Control
- Environmental and Operational Services
