Welcome to Transport and streets

Other rights of way
There are other 'permissive' ways in the Borough which, though not recorded on the Definitive Map they can still be used by the public, these include 'Leisure paths' and paths within areas such as the Council’s Country Parks, Community Woodlands and other areas of public open space.
These are normally under the responsibility of the Council's Leisure and Community Services Department. For more details please contact the Leisure Department’s, Sustainability and Environmental Development Division on 0151 443 3682.
Knowsley’s Public Rights of Way network is a valuable resource for the public to enjoy. However if any problems are encountered whilst using the paths it would be helpful if you could provide us with a detailed description of where the problem occurred and inform us of its nature by completing a General Enquiry Form.
