Access Tools

Knowsley Council is responsible for traffic lights within Knowsley Borough. Please report faults by using the contact details at the bottom of this page.

When reporting a fault please try to have the following information available:

• The location of the traffic signals, include road names where possible and district e.g. Huyton, Kirkby, etc.
• The type of traffic signals involved, e.g. junction, pedestrian, etc.
• The time and date the fault was seen.
• A description of the fault or problem with as many details as possible.
• Your name and contact details, if you require a response.

In an emergency

Outside of normal office hours all urgent faults can be reported to the police on 0151 709 6010. Please ask for St Helens control desk.

General Information

The traffic signal unit also carry out regular checks to ensure that faults are kept to a minimum.
