Shakespeare Schools Festival at Knowsley Leisure and Culture Park

Shakespeare Schools Foundation is proud to present the world’s largest youth drama festival at the Knowsley Leisure and Culture Park.

Join us from 15th November – 17th November for a series of unique Shakespeare productions staged by your schools.

Whether you are a parent, friend or another local school, we invite you to an exhilarating evening of theatre where you will see Shakespeare’s stories brought to life like never before.

SSF is a cultural education charity, transforming lives through the unique power of Shakespeare. In the celebratory finale of their Festival journey, 30,000 young people from primary, secondary and special schools across the country will unite in their local professional theatre in thrilling performance evenings. It promises to be the most exciting Festival yet!

Trio Entertainment return for a 6th year to Knowsley Leisure and Culture Park for this year's magical pantomime "Beauty & The Beast"!

Starring Celebrity Big Brother Winner "Alex Reid", Singing Sensation "Robert Brendan" return's as Prince and panto Favourite "Harry Moore" as Dame with more star names to be announced.

The cruel, arrogant young Prince Antonio lives alone in a castle deep within a dark forest full of ferocious wolves. One day he is visited by a lady who seeks shelter and warmth. After he cruelly mocks her and turns her away, he is shocked to find that the old lady is in fact a magical Enchantress. To teach him a lesson she places a curse on him, turning him into a Beast.

So come and join in the fun and boo the evil Gaston as he tries to win the heart of the beautiful Beauty. Laugh out loud with the hilarious Loopy Louis and Dame Dotty Dumpling as we tell a tale as Old as Time, packed with songs, dance and lots of comedy. This is a show for all the Family you won't want to miss!

  • At the venue (where stated).  On some occasions, tickets may also be available to purchase at other Knowsley leisure centres.

Concessions and ticket offers

Concessionary rates for tickets are available for some events. In general concessions and offers will be available for the following:

  • Young people under 16 years of age
  • Senior Citizens
  • All Active Knowsley members with a gold, silver or swimming membership (only available by purchasing over the phone or at the site
  • Disabled adults/Carers

Concessionary rates for some events may differ e.g. for Mersey Tigers events. Please refer to their guidelines for these details

Ticket offers

  • Group offer: buy ten tickets and get one free
  • Family ticket (where applicable): two adults and two children under 16.
