St Chads Gardens

St Chad’s Gardens is one of Knowsley’s most
attractive parks with a collection of mature tress, large displays
of formal bedding and a rich heritage. Enjoyed by everyone,
the park provides a haven at the heart of Kirkby town centre.
Located within the Old Hall Lane conservation
area, the park is a riot of colour throughout the year, with a good
network of footpaths and attractive entrance features, including an
archway displaying the name of the site.
The gardens are home to a ‘Weeping Stone’, a
key heritage feature and a laburnum arch leading to a central event
space, flanked by a small building. Park furniture and
signage is provided throughout.
