Huyton Lane Wetland
Visitors to Huyton Lane Wetland will find a surprisingly
peaceful haven for local wildlife where they can enjoy a picnic,
walk the dog or just sit and enjoy the birdsong.

The park is open throughout the year.
How to get there
The main entrance to the park is on Huyton Lane and can be
reached from both rail and bus routes from Huyton Station (Mersey
Rail City Line) and Huyton Bus Station.
From Huyton Station, turn left and walk to the nearby Huyton Bus
Station. Walk through this to the traffic lights just past
McDonalds, crossing straight over into Huyton Church Road. At
the far end, turn left along the fenced path, following this
through to the main road. Turn right and the park is 150
yards further on to the right.
