Henley Park

Henley Park is a typical formal park of the post-war years. laid
out with seasonal bedding and formal rose beds. A proportion of the
park is dedicated as a rose garden. Numerous mature trees line the
perimeter and the main footpath.
This footpath provides a circular route around the park, which
is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
The park is a tranquil place to spend a lunch break or to picnic
at the weekend. The floral displays and well stocked rose garden
are a must for anyone with a love of formal gardens and the newly
installed pleached lime avenue is an interesting addition.
Seating is plentiful, with benches spaced at frequent intervals
along the footpaths. Events for visitors are arranged throughout
