Conservation Skills and Interpretation Project

Interpretation panels
Interpretation panels are a way of working with local people to
research the history of certain areas and work with specialists to
interprate those findings.
The Conservation Skills and Interpretation Project has
identified six conservation areas in which an interpretation panel
will be installed. These are:
- Old Hall Lane, Kirkby
- Knowsley Village
- Prescot
- St Michael's Church, Huyton
- Cronton
- Halewood
The type of information that may be included relate to
buildings, events, people or topography. We want participants to
help design the interpretation boards for their area to make sure
they contain information that other people will be interested
in.
