Milkshake Live!

Friday 31 May
Milkshake Live! comes out to play in Knowsley Leisure &
Culture Park in May.
Starring Milkshake! favourites Little Princess and Scruff, Noddy
and Tessie Bear, Roary and Big Chris, Fifi and Bumble and B1 &
B2 (the Bananas in Pyjamas!), this musical spectacular is sure to
have children tapping their toes, clapping their hands and singing
at the tops of their voices.
The all-singing and all-dancing show is brought to you by
Channel 5 and Premier Productions, and will be hosted by two of
their lively presenters who are sure to dazzle and delight. There
are two shows, at 1.30pm and 4.00pm on Friday 31st May 2013.
Tickets are priced at £12 for adults, £10 for children and family
tickets at £40.

The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra performs its Summer
Concert with eminent conductor, James Clark, on Friday, June 14 at
7.30pm.
It’s the second time the orchestra has performed at the centre
in Longview Drive in Huyton, the last concert was a sell out so
don’t miss out. Tickets for this concert are priced at £12 / £10
(concessions over 60 years and under 16 years) and are available by

Knowsley Leisure and Culture Park is taking part in the Our Big
Gig which is a nationwide free music festival, taking place at 275
venues across the UK between 11th and 14th July. Our Big Gig gives
communities the opportunity to organise an amazing musical
celebration that brings people together.

Onam Celebrations

This celebration of the ancient Indian festival
of Onam is presented by Liverpool Malayalee Associatetion
and returns to Knowsley Leisure and Culture Park for a second
year. It's sure to delight audiences and includes a
traditional lunch, spectacular stage show with a mixture of dance,
comedy and singing.

Following acclaimed productions of Terrible Tudors, Vile
Victorians, Awful Egyptians and Ruthless Romans, Birmingham Stage
Company have chosen Knowsley Leisure and Culture Park to present
their latest show 'Horrible Histories - Barmy Britain, set in
loathsome London.
The show is coming to the centre direct from London’s West End
and is sure to delight our history fans with micky takes of 'Who
wants to be a Millionaire', 'The Apprentice' and 'Relocation
Relocation'!
British history is full of barmy people who did nasty things to
each other. With blood, battles, murder and mayhem Horrible
Histories - Barmby Britain explores stories from Roman, Tudor,
Stuart, Georgian, Victorian and WW1 periods and features famous
characters such as Henry VIII, Anne Boleyn, Guy Fawkes, Florence
Nightingale and General Earl Haig. Enjoy an episode of Roman
Mankychef and find out how to impress your guests with roast
dormouse; is it easier to lose your heart or head to horrible
Henry? Will Parliament escape gunpowder Guy? Take a peak inside
Georgian Crime School, dare to dance the Tyburn jig and find out
what a baby farmer did.
The hour-long show is written by Terry Deary. Don’t miss this
horrible history of Britain with the nasty bits left in!

Got to Dance!
Sunday 17th November 2013, 9.30am
If you love street dance, this event is for you. 'Got to Dance!'
is a fantastic competition aimed at young people who love
dancing. The contest has categories for under 6 beginners, ages
ranging to under eight to over 16 at intermediate and advanced
levels and solo, duo, crews and teams.
You don't have to be in a dance school to enter - anyone can
have a go!

Mersey Tigers basketball

Futsal Club - National league games
Time: Sundays at 3.30pm
Dates: 4 March
We're proud to host Liverpool Futsal Club for their
national league games. Futsal is a variant of football with an
emphasis on improvisation, creativity and technique. It is mainly
played on a smaller indoor pitch and is derived from the Portuguese
futebol de salao and the Spanish futbol de salon.
