Stay Safe when using PLINGS
No we're not about to go on about wearing hard hats and
fluorescent jackets! It's just that if you are going to
attend any activities you find on Plings - or anywhere else for
that matter - we want you to have a great time and for nothing to
go wrong.
So if you are planning on attending an activity - especially if
it is for the first time - we would suggest that you:
- Contact the organiser to make sure the event is still on
- Make sure you know where the event is and how to get
there
- Find out if there are any relevant access, age or gender
restrictions
- Check to see if you need any special equipment or clothing
- See what time the activity ends and make arrangements to get
home
- Let somebody you trust know where you are going and how to
contact you
- If possible don’t attend an activity/event alone, take a
trusted friend or adult
- Introduce yourself to the organiser when you arrive
- Enjoy yourself!
