You are invited to take part in the 2009 Junior Open Golf
Tourament on Friday 14 August 2009.
To celebrate the creation of the new Junior Academy at Bowring,
for the first time we are staging a parent and child
competition (children aged 12 to 17) from 8.30am to 9.20am.
This will be open to a parent and son/daughter which is a two ball
event (playing in a four ball) with combined score and counting and
entry fee per person the same IE £19 per pair (parent and child).
(Max handicap 34 for both).
Tee times for the official handicap section (12 to 17 year olds)
Max 34 and players with no official handicap are on the
enclosed
entry form. Entry fee is £9.50.
Send completed entry forms with cheque or postal order to Steve
Guy, Events Office, Court Hey Park, Roby Road, L16 3NA or you can
hand it in to the Bowring Park Golf Course ticket office. Closing
date for entries is Friday 7th August 2009.
New rules
No adults or friends or none playing children will be allowed to
accompany any of the 12 to 17 year old players on any part of the
course.
