Equal opportunities

The Council is committed to equality of opportunity, both in the way that potential employees are encouraged to seek and gain employment within the Council, and in the way that existing employees are treated.

No applicant or employee will receive less favourable treatment than others because of their colour, creed, ethnic or national origin, disability, age, gender, marital status, sexuality/sexual orientation, religious beliefs, trade union activity or responsibility for dependants.

For further information contact us using the details at the bottom of this page.

Help us to make Knowsley more accessible

Knowsley Council is conducting a borough-wide consultation of its Disability Equality Scheme.

The scheme sets out what the Council intends to do for people with disabilities over the next three years and, alongside this, Knowsley is also drawing up action plans to show the work underway to make its services more accessible.
