Knowsley Schools Against Racism
21 March 2006 saw the official launch
of
Knowsley Schools Against Racism. In
addition to the many activities on-
going in our schools to stamp out
racism and celebrate difference, all
schools in the borough sampled
cultural school dinners, giving them
an
opportunity to taste different foods
from around the world, as well as
having themed assemblies and lessons.The children also signed anti-racism pledge cards to show their support to stamping out racism in our community.
There will be more activities planned throughout the year, including schools developing art work for a forthcoming exhibition.
