Knowsley's Racial Harassment Strategic Plan
Knowsley’s first anti-racism strategic
plan was officially signed by all
partners on 21 March 2006. It has been
produced by Knowsley’s Crime and
Disorder
Partnership, which includes agencies
such as Knowsley Council, Merseyside
Police and Merseyside Fire & Rescue
Service, amongst others. The main aims
of the plan are to eliminate racial
discrimination and promote equal
opportunities and positive relations
between people from different racial
groups.
To achieve this, partners from private, public and voluntary sector organisations have pledged to continue their commitment to work together with the whole community so that Knowsley is a safe place for all people to live, work, go to school and spend your leisure time.
The Knowsley Racial Harassment Strategic Plan was officially launched on 3 May 2006.
