About the Campaign

Creating a community that challenges all forms of racial hatred and where everyone feels welcome, accepted and safe.
Knowsley Against Racism is a long-term strategy launched in October 2005 to actively stamp out racism in Knowsley. On 21 March 2006, International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination, the campaign moved on to its next phase and launched a number of events to raise awareness.
Knowsley Against Racism requires the support and involvement of the community. It is a call to action across all areas of the borough to raise awareness and understanding of the necessity to create a community that does not tolerate racism, and where everyone feels welcome, accepted and safe. We are asking people to stand up and be counted by:
- actively reporting incidents, and
- showing their support by signing pledge cards and displaying window stickers, etc
Pledge cards and window stickers are
available from a wide range of public
buildings within the borough. Click on
