Traffic lights
The council is responsible for traffic lights within the
Knowsley Borough. The Traffic Signal Unit carry out regular checks
to ensure that faults are kept to a minimum.
If traffic lights are out or you notice a fault please contact
us immediately.
How to report a fault
Call 0151 443 2349 between 9am to 5pm weekdays. If it is
an emergency and the office is closed, you can report urgent faults
to the police on 0151 709 6010 and ask for St Helens control
desk.
When reporting a fault please try to have the following information
available:
- The location of the traffic signals, include road names where
possible and district e.g. Huyton, Kirkby, etc.
- The type of traffic signals involved, e.g. junction,
pedestrian, etc.
- The time and date the fault was seen.
- A description of the fault or problem with as many details as
possible.
- Your name and contact details, if you require a response.
