Abandoned vehicles
To report an abandoned vehicle call 0151 443 2400. We will
respond to your complaint within three working days and
inspect the vehicle to find out:
- If it has a registered keeper.
- If it is an end of life vehicle (not stolen or
registered).
- If it is stolen.
- if it is burnt out.
If it is an end of life vehicle we will place a 24 hour notice
on the windscreen advising of the action to follow. If the vehicle
is not claimed we will hand it over to a designated scrap agent for
disposal.
If the vehicle is registered or stolen, then we will
inform the police.
If it is a burnt out vehicle, we will notify the police and they
will make arrangements for its disposal.
