One stop shops

One stop shops are multi-purpose facilities situated at convenient locations throughout the borough. They enable our residents to access a wide range of council services at a single place, in a welcoming and comfortable environment.

Opening hours

All four offices are open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

What services can I access?

• Pay council tax and Knowsley Housing Trust (KHT) rent.
• A revenues and housing benefits enquiry service.
• Process blue badge applications.
• Log enquiries about street lighting, missed bin collections and environmental issues.
• Purchase Merseytravel Saveaway tickets.

There are also many partner surgeries held at our one stop shops including the following:

Department of Work and Pensions

• Kirkby – Friday, 10am to 12pm
• Halewood – Friday, 10am to 12pm
• Huyton – Thursday, 10am to 12pm
• Prescot – Tuesday, 10am to 12pm

Knowsley Registrars

Service available at Kirkby, Halewood and Huyton. Please ask for further details at the welcome point.

Age Concern

• Halewood – Tuesday, 10am to 12pm
• Prescot – Last Thursday of each month, 10am to 12pm

Knowsley Works – Road to Work Team

• Huyton – Thursday, 12.30pm to 3pm

Roy Castle Fag Ends

• Huyton – Monday, 1.30am to 5pm (drop in)
