Join your local library
To join one of our libraries, simply complete an application
form and take along to your nearest library along with some
identification (proof of your name, address and date of birth).

When you join, ask a member of staff to provide you with your
Personal Identification Number so you can reserve and renew your
books via our online
library.
Membership benefits
Once you become a library member you will be given a membership
card, which you should take with you each time you visit the
library.
As a library member you can:
- Borrow up to 20 books or talking books from any Knowsley
library for 3 weeks.
- Reserve books that are not immediately available.
- Return your books to any Knowsley library.
Lost membership cards
If you lose your membership card you can have a replacement at a
charge of 65p. Any further replacements will cost £1.
