applying for supported housing. It includes:
In the case of nursing homes and housing for people with a
mental health problem or disability, social services will need to
carry out an assessment of your needs.
Housing
associations provide accessible housing for people with
physical disabilities but you will need to apply directly to
the housing association to join their register or waiting list.
Supporting People programme
Supporting People is the government programme for funding,
planning and monitoring housing related support services. Its aim
is to improve the quality and effectiveness of the support services
