days during 2012/13.
Garden waste collections
Your green waste (blue bin) collection service will start again
during the week beginning 27 February.
FROM THIS DATE, PLEASE PRESENT YOUR BLUE BIN ON YOUR USUAL
RECYCLING COLLECTION DAY.
For more information please contact the Environmental Helpline
on 0151 443 2400. Remember you can recycle shredded paper in your
blue bin.
General waste collections
We collect your general waste weekly between 7am and
5pm.
If we are unable to gain access or experience any
transport difficulties we will try to return to your bin on the
same day. Where this is not practical we will collect your
bin by 5pm the following day.
Find out your next collection day by using the
postcode seach on the My Neighbourhood area.
How can you help?
- Bring your maroon bin to the kerbside or collection point by
7am on your collection day.
- Place all refuse inside the bin and ensure that the lid
closes.
- Ensure the handle faces the road.
- Do not fill your bin with garden waste, building materials or
rubble.
- Please make sure that your wheelie bin isn't overfilled or too
heavy.
Assisted collections
These are for residents who are physically unable to put
out the bin. If you are elderly or have a disability and you do not
have anyone else at home to help, you may be eligible for an
assisted collection. Please contact us on 0151 443 2400 for
more information or complete the assisted collections form.
What can I put in my maroon bin?
- General waste and items that cannot be recycled.
- We will not accept building materials or rubble
