Disposing of dog waste
Dog walkers are now able to use ALL of the
borough’s litter bins to dispose of their bagged dog waste.
Existing red dog waste bins will be replaced
by general litter bins – with posters and bin stickers reminding
residents how to dispose of their dog waste responsibly. If it is
properly bagged, dog waste does not need to be separated from
normal waste.
This initiative will provide an improved
service to residents and reduce the amount of dog waste on the
streets.
