Drug related violence

The partnership's work focuses on protecting the community against drug related crime and re-offending of criminals.  We address the importance of young people, supporting families and providing eduction to the community about the impact of drugs and alchohol. We also:

  • Provide effective treatment and support to those in our community who are involved in drugs or alcohol.
  • Develop effective enforcement activity focusing on the key area of the supply of drugs and alchol in our communities.
  • Develop public information campaigns.

Alcohol related violence

A range of activities are well established in Knowsley to combat alcohol related violence including heatlh, education and licensing initiatives and enforcement operations.

The Safer Knowsley Partnership is included in the Tackling Violent Crime programme and conducts a range of both preventative and enforcement led activities aimed at addressing violent crime brought about through excessive and inappropriate alcohol consumption.
