Decision notices
A decision notice tells you if your planning application
has been granted or refused.
If your application has been granted the notice will explain
what conditions we have imposed. If your application has been
refused the notice will explain the reasons for refusal.
We will also inform those who have objected to the planning
application of our decision.
You can view details of decision notices online via the
Public Access
site.
What if I do not like the decision?
You have a right to appeal against a refusal or if you do not
agree with the conditions we have imposed. We explain this process
in the decision notice documentation package that we send to
you.
We report complex and controversial applications to the Planning
Committee when they meet monthly. We welcome members of the public
to attend and speak out on planning applications.
