Unitary Development Plan
The council's Unitary Development Plan (UDP) adopted in 2006,
explains our policy and strategy for the physical development and
regeneration of the borough. It includes:
- A written statement about land use, development issues and
how the strategy will be delivered in Knowsley; and
- A proposals map showing, on an ordnance survey base,
the protected areas and areas allocated for development.
You can view the interactive written
statement and proposals map online.
Over the next few years, the UDP will be replaced with a number
of individual documents which will make up the Local
Development Framework (LDF).
