Issues and Options

The Knowsley Core Strategy Issues and Options Paper was published for a period of consultation from 27 November 2009 to 22 January 2010. The Council published several consultation documents at this time, and subsequently produced a Report of Consultation, which has gone on to inform the preparation of the Preferred Options Report.

Report of Consultation

The Council has produced a Report of Consultation for the Issues and Options stage of consultation. This report explains how the consultation was undertaken, and draws out the main issues raised by those involved. The report reflects on the successes of the consultation activities and also seeks to suggest possible improvements which could be made to the next round of consultation.

Early Preparation

The Council commenced preparation of the Core Strategy with some initial workshops and research exercises. These are available to download below:
