After suffering a bereavement, there are many
important decisions to make. We hope this information

Knowsley cemeteries - opening times and contact
information
Knowsley's
cemeteries include Prescot cemetery and Knowsley cemetery as
well as the cemeteries at St Chad's and St Michael's churches which
are no longer able to accept any further burials.
You may want more information on burials and
cremation in Knowsley or arranging and maintaining memorials at the
cemeteries.
Cemeteries are always open to the public, however, the main
gates for vehicles are only open between the following times:
- April to September 8am to 8pm
- October to March 8am to dusk
Bereavement services office
All records are held at the cemeteries office, which is open
Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.
If you are searching for burial and cremation records or
registers, you must apply in writing to the cemeteries
office. There is a fee for this service. Please contact
us to find out the current charge. You should provide us with
as much information as possible regarding the names and date of
burial.
