Cemeteries in Knowsley

cemeteries include Prescot cemetery and Knowsley cemetery as
well as the cemeteries at St Chad's and St Michael's churches which
are no longer able to accept any further burials.

Cemeteries
Cemeteries are always open to the public, however, the main gates
for vehicles are only open between the following times:
- April to September 8am to 8pm
- October to March 8am to dusk
Cemeteries office
All records are held at the cemeteries office, which is open
Monday to Friday from 9.30am to 12pm and 2pm to 4pm.
If you are searching for burial and cremation records or
registers, you must apply in writing to the cemeteries
office. There is a fee for this service. Please contact
us to find out the current charge. You should provide us with
as much information as possible regarding the names and date of
burial.
