Knowsley Arts Service has invited local young people to take part in a summer performance project called ‘Get on your feet and perform’.

Over 40 talented young people have dedicated their summer days to create an electrifyingly good production ‘Untold truths’, which will be presented at the Childwall Valley Theatre on Friday 29th August at 7.30pm.

Working through Dance, Drama and Music, the actors acknowledge and challenge the way the media portrays young people today.

Negative stereotypes and aggressive images of ‘feral youth’ and dangerous ‘hoodies’ can camouflage the positives of the overwhelming majority of young people today.

In partnership with local performing artists and theatre makers, the 30 strong cast have created a fast, funny, enthusiastic and heartfelt response to what they see as an injustice and a misrepresentation.
