Knowsley Health and Wellbeing Partnership Annual Meeting
Target: Wellbeing in Knowsley, an exciting new programme funded
by the Big Lottery, will be launched at the Annual Meeting of the
Knowsley Health and Well-Being Partnership on 18th August.
The meeting, which starts at 10 am at Huyton Civic Suite, will
highlight the development of new and innovative partnership
arrangements aimed at improving the health and well-being of
Knowsley residents.
Supported by the Health and Well-Being Partnership, voluntary and
community organisations came together to develop the eight projects
which make up Target: Wellbeing in Knowsley.
The programme received more than £800,000 from the Big
Lottery and will benefit thousands of residents. The Annual Meeting
will include a taste of what is on offer.
There will be information and demonstrations from the projects,
which between them have something for people of all ages and
abilities. Find out how you can dance with Shimmy Shimmy Shake
Shake, enjoy wildflowers with ‘Great Outdoors’ or go
cycling with Pedal Away – and much more.
This event is open to the public. All are welcome to attend to find
out about the Partnership’s work and the ways in which you
can take part in Target: Wellbeing in Knowsley.
